Vision Therapist, Optometric Assistant and Optical Dispenser

Hi! I have been working in the optical industry since 2013 and joined the Eye Health Centre in 2020. In the clinic you will find me teaching patients valuable visual skills in the vision therapy space, in the frame dispensary helping patients pick their perfect glasses and assisting doctors by administering pre-screening before an eye exam. I am fascinated by the human mind and behavior and in 2020 I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Concordia University of Edmonton. Being a Vision Therapist is the perfect amalgamation of my two passions: vision, and psychology. This provides me with an ingenious approach to vision therapy. I have completed the Practical Vision Therapy Accreditation Program (PVTAP) and the Emergent Vision Therapist Course. It is important to me to keep up to date with new approaches and methods, therefore I am always reading and learning.

When I am not at work you can find me serving the community and spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about my faith, creating art, dancing, and learning!
